TICK-tock

Yep.  It's that time of year again.  TICKS.  Yuck.  I have a theory that they're a result of The Fall.  They give me the heebie-jeebies.  Seriously, I'm not a fan.  And we found our first one today.  On me.  I'm pretty sure I got it from the bear cub who was romping in the field today.  The one curse of the country is that there are plenty of places to pick these buggers up (our dear Mundo isn't helping).  Anyway, we did the whole strip-everybody-down-wash-the-clothes-vaccum-the-whole-house-pick-through-the-hair routine.  Is playing outside really worth doing this three times a day?  Well, my bear cub thinks so.  So here is my plea to expertise...does anyone have some tips for what works best to repel the blood-sucking, disease-infested devils?  We use Frontline for the dog.  Gee, you'd think there would be some kind of once-a-month deal for us too, huh?
