My Eden

My Beloved has made me an Eden.  It is still in its childhood, but already showing signs of fruitfulness... 

                                                               

   

He put up fencing, double-dug, tilled, spread manure,

planted seeds, watered, weeded, and built a lovely gate where I can, "sit and read, or just think on lovely things."

And he did this all for me.

All so that I could tromp through the glorious mud, breathe in the intoxicating scent of tilled soil and leaf mold, harvest bounty for our family, and teach our bear cubs the joy of working the earth and enjoy the Eden that GOD has given us.

 So here I sit by my gate, thinking on lovely things...marveling at how our Lord is molding my Beloved to be more like Him.
